The Met Opera House sparkled a little more than usual last night as guests including Jack McCollough, Lazaro Hernandez, and Emmy Rossum gathered for the opening of Maria Callas and Swarovski: Jewels on Stage at the Metropolitan Opera. “Oh! They’re so beautiful,” cooed the actress as she eyed the 40 baubles on display. The pieces, which were custom-made for the legendary soprano from 1947 to 1965, will be on display through March 3.
Across town at a cocktail party for Thakoon Panichgul at Maurice Villency, PYTs Annie Churchill, Byrdie Bell, Teen Vogue's Jane Keltner, and stylist Tina Chai sipped mango-rum concoctions dubbed Thakoon-tinis for the occasion and previewed their fashion week wardrobes. The night's big winner: the off-the-shoulder black dress Irina wore on the designer's spring runway.
