Exhibition of Swarovski jewelry opens in Prague
An exhibition of theatrical jewelry, titled “Maria Callas & Swarovski – Jewelry on stage,” opened last week at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague 1.
The collection of jewelry and designs created for the famous soprano by the Marangoni studio in Milan has already toured Italy and Monte Carlo and will remain in Prague through March 26. The opening was attended by Prime Minister Jiří Paroubek and Swarovski International’s vice president for events and exhibitions, Rinaldo Albanesi, the curator of the show. The weekly Profit and the Czech Business Weekly are the main media partners for the exhibit.
